My Writing
I don't write very often at all, and I don't consider myself to be particularly good at it. I have written some short fanfictions over the years. They are mostly either jokes or scenes of Mario or Mega Man characters beating the shit out of each other.
In 2026, I wrote a short story for The Pokepod Project. It is about an Unown and you can read it here and/or listen to the narration here!
I like to write poems every once in a while. Here are a few of my favorites from most recent to oldest:
4/18/25
The pigeons that we left behind
In sidewalks and in streets
Those doves of barred and checkered wings
And wire tangled feet
Who lived aloft in heaven once
Feed on the fallen ground
I look into their sunset eyes
And they don’t make a sound
8/11/24
Into the woods where the beetles sing
The old path used to go
Behind the chain-link fence I weep
As their faint laughter grows cold
12/5/23 excerpts from "Monsters Masquerading as Men"

He paused to say “I know that’s not what you mean-
I’m dodging the question, I’ve buried the lead.
The thing that you wanted, the thing that you wish-
It must be the story of why I’m a fish”
“You don’t need to tell me”
I said to him then
“Maybe we’re all monsters masquerading as men”

I saw in his face, his gills and his tail
He went white with a dread the size of a whale

11/3/21 "Ghosts in November"
I am back at the house of my childhood freind
It is empty and wind blows the shutters
I looked out of the very top window
and everything was the same
I can see us down by the river
One fluffy cloud in the sky
(Believe it or not, this was written about... The book "Moominvalley in November". Just like the idea of it, I hadn't read it yet.

1/23/18 excerpt from "Secretary's Lament"
A single tree in a garden falls
The world forgets how it grew
The flowers form on the fallen log
And life will return all anew
(Believe it or not, this was written about... Nastasia from Paper mario coming to terms with the death of Count Bleck also from Paper Mario of course)

Yes, there was fire too-

Where do you go on the long summer days?
When the wind’s always warm
But the trees never sway?
When the mountains and valleys are swallowed in heat-
When the river runs still and the bird’s wings don’t beat?
In a paralyzed world always praying for rain
For whenever you’re gone everything is the same
(Believe it or not, this was written about... Protoman from Megaman)
