Fredrick by Leo Lionni is a picture book about a mouse who gathers sunlight and colors during the summer to share with his fellow mice during the winter months.
It's one of my favorite children's books because of how it talks about the value of art. Like Fredrick, I have created this "summer" page to capture my love for the warmer times to look back on when it is cold and dark.
