PMD TEAMS

An incomplete list of all the teams I’ve played as in the Pokémon Mystery dungeon games. Only includes teams I have beaten the main story (including the extended story in sky) of a given game with.

Team Pure (Explorers of Time)

The first time I ever beat a pmd game as a kid, it was with this team. Meowth is named my name in all caps because I didn’t know how to switch between caps/lowercase. I was too young to understand the mechanics very well so these guys took a LONG training break before stopping the destruction of temporal tower. I didn’t know what the gender symbols meant so Cyndaquila was always a girl, even though her gender was listed as male. So accidental transgender icon!

Team Horizon (Explorers of Sky)

The first team I beat explorers of sky with. Very special to me & probably my favorite team. Spark is very friendly and sweet, while Star is weird, quiet and kind of offputting.

Team Honeydew (Explorers of Sky)

A challenge run with the two hardest to play starters. I was already a fan of Chikorita but this team made me love Phanpy as well. For some reason Phanpy is male-only in the game, so Moon is trans as well.

Team Sol (Blue Rescue Team)

To be honest I don’t remember a lot about these guys. But I did beat Rescue team!
