This game is Legendary. It's every child's idea of what is badass and funny. As as an adult, it's still just an meaningful and entertaining. It's a game overflowing with charm, with a soundtrack is full of bangers, and a story that is was absolutley wild for a mario game of its time. It also has the unique flavor of an older JRPG that is very interesting when paired with "It's MARIO guys. It's for the children.".

When I first heard this game was getting a re-make, I cried. It is very faithful to the original, and introduced the game to a lot of people. I like it a lot! But if you are going to play SMRPG, I would recommend playing the original because it is much easier to um. find on the ground while you're walking around outside. Let's go with that.

Some characters I enjoy:

-Geno is kind of the Mario equivalent of an angel and some kid's oc at the same time. A star posessing the body of a toy. He plays the role of a cool stoic JRPG hero and it's pretty great.

-Mallow is just a little guy! What's not to love?

-Bowser is a playable character for the first time in the series' history. His dialogue and personality are fundamentally the same as present-day.

-The Smithy Gang are anthropomorphic weapons from another dimention that are trying to conquer the world. They are fascinating to me for some reason.

-There are More! Belome, Booster, Dodo & Valentina, Johnny... I can't list them all!
