What is this thing?
Bowyer is one of several weapon-themed enemies from Super Mario RPG. He is based on a bow and shoots arrows using his entire body. It's very goofy.
Mario and company fight him in the Forest Maze near Rose Town, where Bowyer has been terrorizing the population by hitting them with arrows, causing them to freeze in place (Harmlessly. This is a Mario game).
The way I draw him is pretty different from how he actually looks, which is like this:

My design takes a lot of inspiration from Lovespellart's Bowyer and Loopy-Lupe's Bowyer.

Why do I like him?
1. The number one reason I started to like Bowyer is because he is the boss of the chapter where Geno shows up. Geno was my gateway drug into a lot of things and I guess that included everything surrounding his introduction.
2. I find his design the most appealing of the weapons. Something about how unique it is and the bizzare color scheme.
3. Open-ended. I can just make stuff up about him and it's not DISproven by the game.
Facts
- Bowyer speaks in anastrophe (Like Star Wars' Yoda)
- Bowyer's name was not changed in the 2023 re-make, unlike Mack -> Claymorton and Yaridovich -> Speardovich. I guess they got it in one!
